Zap/ping de Rêves

Jan-Apr 2015

I've written a whole report on this project, which I've uploaded here (but it's in french), so you can go ahead and read that if you want to get the whole process.

The idea started out as a terrain generator, but I then got the idea to be able to "switch channels" from one setting to the next.

I wanted to show that, even with multiple, infinite worlds to travel in, the user is, after maybe taking some time to travel in the first world, only going to "zap" until he's "seen them all", and then move on to something else.

The code behind the generation is finished, but the project is not. Ideally I'd like 5-7 settings, all in different styles.

But most importantly, I'd like to be able to make some kind of installation for this. The main idea, as depicted below, is to have a comfortable chair or sofa, and to use my makey-makey in order to have some kind of remote control to move around.
